Solent Credit Union is looking for someone to oversee our office and manage HR issues, to handle volunteer recruitment, and to ensure staff and volunteers have established training plans.
What is the role?
The Director of Volunteer HR and Training will have responsibility for the following areas of the business
- Oversight of our main office in Southampton, managing HR issues
- Working with the Board to redefine the role of the volunteer
- Volunteer recruitment
- Ensuring training plans are established and followed for staff and volunteers
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who can work as part of that team and contribute towards the future success of the credit union. This is a small organisation run by volunteers, so directors are expected work actively in the role they take up.
We are looking for someone who has experience in HR management. The position is suitable either for someone who is mid-career, looking to gain experience at board/executive level, or for someone who is retired or semi-retired.
