Is Interest paid to Junior Savers?

Solent Credit Union has been able to pay a dividend (interest) to Junior Savers for the last few years to encourage them to continue saving. Priority to pay a dividend is always given to Junior Savers

Please contact our office if you wish to open a junior account for a child who is not your child or you are not the guardian. It is important to understand the relationship to be able to advise on the documentation required.

When I reach 16 as a Junior Saver, what happens then?

Once a junior saver reaches the age of 16 they will be contacted to see if they wish to join Solent Credit Union as an adult member which, once they reach the age of 18, will mean that they can apply for a loan and stand for election to one of the committees.                                                                                         Back To Menu
